Vaginal Cancer Treatment Overview


  • The indication for particle beam radiation therapy is vaginal cancer that has been confirmed pathologically (biopsy, surgery).
  • The therapy is applicable only when other definitive treatments (surgery, external beam irradiation therapy, brachytherapy) are not possible or the patient refuses to receive such therapies.
  • Any histological type is considered the indication.
